Why buy Simply Grazin products?
Most consumers do not like to think about how animals are raised while they are biting into their steak. We do. All animals raised on our farm are treated with the utmost respect. Ultimately, they are going to give their life to feed you and I; we ensure that their life cycle is spent grazing in the sunshine, in a stress-free environment, with minimal interference. We do our own hauling and we personally load the animals to ensure they are not mishandled or unnecessarily stressed. You should feel good about knowing how well these animals are treated. We are truly blessed to be responsible for their healthy upbringing. Our 100 % grass-fed cattle graze on organically managed pasture, without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers. Our animals are raised on grass from start to finish. Conventionally raised beef are grain-fed or grain-finished. You can certainly taste the difference in the flavor of the meat. It's a two year process for our calves to mature into the desired weight for slaughtering. (Most feed lots administer steroids and growth hormones to "beef them up" in six months.) Buying from your local farm not only helps out the agricultural industry, but allows the consumer to actually see for themselves how we operate. Please educate yourselves on the raising of the products you consume. Ask questions and don't be afraid to ask for proof of organic status.
